“This house is in a great location between a good grocery store and Christiansted. My wife and I arrived on a later flight from the US, which meant that we were 'cutting it close' after stopping for groceries and getting to the house before dark. As is typical of Caribbean islands: driving directions (esp. for the 'last mile') to the house are a little bit sketchy. I submitted an addition to Google Maps (download them ahead of time so you don't need cell service) for the house number. Time will...

“Hosts Barbara and Mike were always available to answer questions or to see to our needs. Mike was at the rental house when we arrived, showing us around and explaining how things worked. Every room was clean and appealing, with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen was especially well stocked and incredibly organized, which was a treat for the cooks in our group. “Carina Bay was lovely. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy, Carina Bay is it. The all inclusive resort served good food. If you don’t eat pork, breakfast will disappoint you. I went during the spring/summer months. The seaweed smelled awful. It almost ruined the entire experience. Winter months are better for staying at the resort because they don’t have winter and there is no seaweed.”
