“We stayed at this cabin in Wayland, NY from July 12–15 with two adults, four kids, and zero regrets. The place was peaceful, well-stocked, and surprisingly private, considering the houses are right next to each other—we barely saw another soul all weekend (except for some ants, but more on them later). The check-in process was extremely simple.The view of the lake was beautiful—especially during a rainstorm. We spent ages just swinging on the porch, watching the rain fall on the water and ripple...

“We had a wonderful time. The house and area is beautiful the lake was great. We went fishing in the kayaks every day. We caught a bunch of Bass, Perch, and Pickerel. It was just wonderful to sit on the deck and watch the lake. ”

“Stayed here for a second time. What a beautiful place! Very comfortable for 4 people but can easily accommodate 6. Everything you need is there. Feels like home!Will book again!”

“Really enjoyed my stay. Just had a few hiccups checking in. Mistakingly got the wrong code to the door. Not a big deal. The cabin does need a little TLC tho. The floor is wavey, extremely hard water, leaves stains on sinks and toilet. Also a very strong sulfar smell. Id bring your own water for drinking/food prep. Loved the outdoor tiki bar set up right near the fire pit. And the hiking trail u can access right from the property. ”

Cleanliness is a must for me, and our host Ben did not leave a stone unturned-it was spotless! Giant modern TV, stainless steel appliances, new bathroom, and very comfortable living/sleeping areas. Convenient washer/dryer available on premise. Private beach at the end of the small street, or sit in the backyard around the fire pit. Very peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to town where...

“Rainey is an excellent cook. Our breakfasts were delicious! Very relaxed atmosphere! The property is a work in progress. A hot shower would be nice. A lot of money for a tent . It was an interesting stay. ”
