“Beautiful Victorian home very close to town. We did not have breakfast but fresh homemade cookies were left out for guests to enjoy and they were the best I've ever eaten! Will definitely stay again when we are in the area. ”

They’ve bought some cheap new beds to make it look “modern” but don’t be fooled. This property hasn’t been properly maintained for years and it shows. Everything is loose and jiggly, windows are single pane glass from the 1960’s, peeling wallpaper, skeletons of past wall fixtures long removed leaving wall anchors and bad spackle jobs, filthy bathroom mirror that has...

“The hotel is quite new & the lakefront property is beautiful. Room was very clean & quiet. Bed was super comfy. The Cove had delicious food, especially the meatball appetizer. Only complaint was they needed more help. We went back for dessert and the bartender ended up waiting on us. He was very sweet. Otherwise we would’ve waited forever. Then the next morning, when attempting to go in for breakfast, we were ignored for a long time while trying to check in. We ended up going elsewhere.”
