“Our stay was just ok. The room was fine. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. It’s old and in the need of a major upgrade. The hallways are dingy. A couple of the ice machines were broken. The lobby area was extremely hot, as the young lady that checked us in said that her AC was broken. The breakfast area was not stocked well at all. We came for breakfast 45 minutes before it was supposed to be finished. Everything was empty except for...

“The hotel was ok. The sheets feel rough, like it had lint balls. The bathroom seat needed to be replaced. Bathroom needed cleaning. Curtains were dirty.”

“There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. So, as quickly as I unloaded the car, I packed it back up and hit the road. If you’re on the lam from the law, this might be a fine place to hide out. I just...

“Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!”
