“It’s pretty dated but clover island is being renovated so hopefully this hotel as well. The dock is busted and we wanted to try fishing. Also the restaurant and bar was closed indefinitely. A good option though while traveling.”

“Decent room. No coffee maker, no hair dryer. Train went by at 1:30 am and woke me up. Person above me never stopped banging things and stomping back and forth... literally all evening and from 2:30am on. Will not stay here again. Disappointed.”

“good room for the value, you get what you pay for, not a luxury hotel or anything. SUPER dog friendly with a great dog area and direct access to the river trail which is super fun for morning/evening walks. I'm just here for work and sleep so it was perfect. Pool looked fun. dogs give 5 stars.”

“The beds were comfortable. The full size refrigerator was very nice. It needed another chair to sit on. There was only 1 bar of soap so we had to buy something for the shower. Also has to but dish washing soap to clean the dishes that were provided. The dishes were a nice touch but if you plan on using the cooking area you have to bring your own pot/pan/utensils. It would be nice to know ahead of time. Also, though it says they provide a hair dryer, you have to ask for one at the front...

“Down side:Poorly maintained landscaping, broken window screens, chipping paint everywhere outside, litter in the parking lot, filmy windows, wrinkled carpets, restaurant closed permanently, staff helpful, but curt. Pool was dead center of the building, where swimmers would be on display by all-not relaxing. Upside: clean room, comfortable bed, adequate and clean shower.”

“The staff was awesome,like always. I had a very pleasant stay. I was renting a room that had a stench of smoke, i quickly notified the staff and take care of it immediately.”

“If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong.”

“We only stay for like three hours because the lock on the door was not working and maintenance guy couldn’t fix it until the next day, so we asked for our refund, she said will be no problem, hopefully we’ll get our money back. I cannot stay in a place that I don’t feel secure”
