“The room was fine. Breakfast was weak. I guess the waffle maker was out of order and there wasn't much else the coffee was good!”

“Great overnight stop”

“Under new management. He’s been working hard to get a rundown motel cleaned up. Still has a long way to go. My friend said his sheets had dirt and hair. My room was clean, except for the Smokey smell, that manager sprayed a deodorizer that helped. ”

“Great spot for our work crew. ”

“Nice, clean and quiet. The breakfast was good. We would recommend.”

“The room smelled so musty we could hardly breathe. It actually made my son ill. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I would not stay here again!”

“The house itself is a lovely older home that has had extensive renovation on the first level. It would be the perfect place for an indoor reception or family gathering. The upstairs bedrooms are spartan (no night stands or lamps) but it was just the two of us and it worked fine. We did not use the downstairs rec room but we did use the laundry facilities. The host was very responsive and our only issue was the AC was set lower (too cold) than we liked. We would stay here again.”

“Almost Home Hideaway was a great choice for home base while we were visiting in the area for three days. We plan to return to the area next summer for a repeat visit and hope this option will again be available!”
