“This is a beautifully restored Victorian house on a large, quiet property with views of the harbour. The bedroom and sitting room are tastefully decorated and furnished, with a private bathroom. Various fresh items, including home made bread, granola and jam, were left for us for breakfast and the owners were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Advocate Harbour.”

“We let the host know well ahead of arrival that we have chemical sensitivities. They went out of their way to use unscented and sensitive cleaners. They planned to wash the bedding and towels in allergy friendly detergent - when we arrived the bedding did not have any scents that bothered us. They left unscented, allergy friendly dish soap and hand soap for us. We are so appreciative of the extra effort they put forth for us! The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed a walk down to the river....

“Extremely nice, quiet, and homey. Would definitely recommend staying here. The ski resort is walking distance, hot tub is great, even has a washer and dryer. Only heads up -- stairs are narrow and semi-steep, but those weren't an issue for us. We'd stay here again”

“I have no complaints about my stay at Angevine Lake. It was a lovely little cottage that had everything we needed. But the highlight by far was the beautiful lake waterfront! The dock and supplied canoe and kayak were great for accessing the lake! The lake was quiet and the property was private - it was perfect!Communication with the host was easy. Check in/out was effortless. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!”
