“Good air conditioning. Nice sized room king bed.”

“Unfortunately, it is very dark where the motel is. Pulling in, we were very uncomfortable. Had we been able to get a refund, we would have left. However, the owner put us at ease and told us we were safe. She is very careful handling ice, and we were grateful for that. We did sleep well. Not much for breakfast so got a cup of coffee and left in the morning.”

There were a few bugs indoors, but with the cabin being so far out in the country it's pretty expected. Communication with our host was super easy & quick. “Historic Nauvoo. What a neat little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. The property is good value for the money. If you park on the Main Street, it’s easy to find. The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts...

“I loved this little space. It was an old Lil cottage that gave me peace and comfort. We were up there for a funeral. But the cottage made us not want to leave for the real world. my two sons one and adult and one a teen also loved it! The host was very helpful! I will be back...well maybe for vacation next time!”

“Pros: The views of the Mississippi River right across the street and a lovely field behind this home were outstanding. It was an idyllic setting in many ways. The road was off the beaten path so no traffic. The home was clean. There was plenty of bedding, towels, paper plates, plastic cups and glasses, paper towels, forks and spoons, and fridge and cupboard space to store food. New, clean gas stove with griddle. “Very good location, sofa bed mattress was uncomfortable, there are stairs to the bathroom.”

“This downtown apartment was exactly what our family of 6 needed for our 2 day stay. The apartment was steps away from the temple, gift shop, and food. We loved the historic charm of the place and the beds were comfortable. The only stress was a lag in getting in touch with the owner when we didn’t the key code right away. No problems after getting into the apartment! I would recommend this property”
