“This is such a quaint place to stay. The rooms were nice and the setup was perfect. The back side backs up to the Fort Davis Mountains and the seating area in back is perfect. Everything was clean and it felt more like a B&B. I highly recommend staying. It is also centrally located to visit McDonald Observatory, Big Bend, Alpine and Marfa!”

“We stayed in cottage 6. It slept two adults and two grown teenagers nicely. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. Parking is easy and it's located on the Main Street in Fort Davis within walking distance of shops and restaurants. ”

“Father/son trip to do some astrophotography in Fort Davis’s dark skies. The house was very comfortable and the location was very dark. Communication with the owner was very smooth. I highly recommend!”

“We had an absolutely phenomenal stay, our host was so amazing and accommodating. The locals around the town made you feel like family. The location was perfect, and the view of Sleeping lion mountain was so pristine, I loved waking up to it every morning coffee cup in hand. Even my dog was impressed at the location, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We had such a wonderful stay, I will definitely be booking again soon.”

“Three couples, long time friends, wanted to meet near Ft. Davis to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We loved that each bedroom had private baths and king size beds. The view from the back deck was delightful, as we could see Mitre Peak in the distance. As the three women had attended Mitre Peak Girl Scout Camp in our youth, it was rather magic to see Mitre from afar. “We came to celebrate our sons 5th birthday with a star party and while the observatory and sights were amazing, our “mini house” (as our son lovingly called it) was truly one of the best parts. We didn’t know it was monsoon season so we spent a few hours each day sitting on the porch reading and playing while listening to the rain and it was perfect. The style, vibes, and comfort were outstanding. Also, this is probably one of the softest beds I’ve ever slept on. It was an amazing stay! 100/10...
