“The stay was better than I imagined it would be. Beautiful country view with green meadows and cows. So much history in this house. So many things in the house reminded me of my mother. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. It is the best place we have stayed. The communication with Nell was better than great. He stayed up late to help us find our way. We arrived in the dark and Nell was ready for us with the lights on so we could safely enter the house. I can’t wait to return and book this country...

“Such a cute property nestled in the mountains. The host went above and beyond with addressing any concerns we had during our stay. The property is well maintained with everything you need to disconnect for a few days with an amazing view if you're willing to take a small hike up the mountain. We loved exploring the small-town life as there was such a nice sense of community. Would highly reccommend if you are looking for a nice spot to disconnect. ”

“We enjoyed experiencing the repurposed grain silo. It's like steam punk meets Green Acres. Definitely a one of a kind with creative flourishes everywhere. Extended family and friends enjoyed all our photos.”

“What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! ”

“What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me. He LOVED it and so did I!!!The owners took care to think of everything when renovating this house. From being able to make our fresh coffee from the provided supplies to the fabulous shower I wish I had at home — everything was perfect! We look...
