“The hotel was under renovations and the restaurant was closed for renovations. No where does it declare this on their website. I was working just down the road from the hotel and needed a place to eat. When I arrived the exterior of the hotel was under construction and there was no one else there except 1 staff member. They showed me my room and then told me the restaurant was closed for renovations. As I needed a place to eat and a place to stay, and it was obvious that I was not going to get...

“We really enjoyed our small reunion. All descriptions/ communications of the location/cabin by landlord was accurate, no regrets on our booking decision. If we were forced to provide a negative point....it would be the water never got hot for showers or dishwashing. We worked around it, and had an amazing time catching up and the place was very clean and there was TONS of activities available for everyone. We had an amazing weekend, thank you.”

“Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. ”

“Everything was well stocked with supplies we needed, except the gas for the grill was empty. The bedding was fair, could have been a bit fresher and the pillows on the couch were smelly and needed fabreeze. Beds were very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep every night.”

“This place is amazing. It has everything you need for a short trip away from the city. The owner is very organized and took great care of the property. The private dock to the lake is great. Even though the lake was still frozen when we went early April, we took tons of photos. 5 Stars.”
