“I was pleasantly surprised with this location! The room was very spacious and very clean! The beds were super comfortable too! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Even when we were leaving, the owner thanked us for coming and shook our hands on the way out! Only reason this wasn't a 5 star rating was because the pool/hot tub was under repair. ”

But there’s a great coffee shop just a couple blocks away, so it was not an inconvenience. We love staying at this B&B. Chris, Scooby, and the cats are great! “My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and nice. By sheer luck we were able to get a bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Chris was a welcoming and responsive host. Breakfasts were on time and delicious. The house overall had a very pleasant vibe. And we were obsessed with the cats who were very well mannered themselves and didn’t smell at all. We like to take a break from using a car if possible on vacations so downtown and most attractions being within a few blocks...

“Comfortable home not far from Main Street. This lovely house has been restored with historic charm plus modern conveniences. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, and we would have liked to stay a little longer. Owners are extremely attentive to their renters and assist when needed. We enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood with so many stately old homes. Thank you for being pet friendly.”

“My family of 8 came and stayed here for 2 nights while boating at Mark Twain Lake. We absolutely loved this house and it was so close to the marina. This house was very clean with extra supplies, soap, towels etc. and we thank you for that. The open concept with the garage was also a great hang out for my kids and the pond out front was used to go fishing with my daughter early morning. I wish we could of stayed longer. We will definitely be back next year.”
