“The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. The Innkeeper (Erin) is a fantastic and helpful aspect of your experience, too. Highly recommended!!”

“This is where you want to stay if you're in Martinsville, VA. The hosts were great and very quick to respond to inquiries that we had and that was great. The place was darling and very clean, no dust bunnies here! We were just there one night, but slept comfortably. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Martinsville.”

“The room was discusting. It had human fecal matter and blood on wall in bathroom, a used lubricated condom in the nightstand drawer, the refrigerator was a solid block of ice, only one receptacle worked in the room, the furniture was so badly stained you were afraid to sit on it. The toilet didn't work properly, the recptacle in bathroom did not work neither did their hairdryer. The room was overall filthy and can not believe you would even put them on your website. Guess I will not be using...

“Check-in and check out was very simple with the keyless entry. Fully loaded kitchen, washer and dryer, extra frig to store food. It felt like being at home! ”

“Very nice hotel! I had a trailer and no problem parking. The staff checked me very fast, my dog enjoyed the big spacious room with amazing ac, big clean bathroom and large tv with cable tv.. and outlets right near the bed to charge phone/iPad and laptops.”

“Pool could be cleaner. Stuff floating on surface of water. Breakfast room in air conditioned. Food at breakfast was very minimal. Bathroom floor could be cleaned such that it didn’t appear dirty.”

“Very sad old hotel that is in great need of repairs and upgrades. There were 2 beds in the room, one was hard as a board and the other was way too soft. Wallpaper coming down, carpet badly stained, unrepaired damage in bathroom, etc. Desk clerk was very nice.”
