In the 1940s this place was built and my family started going. My great grandmother was a long term tenant, and for generations we have gone there to experience healing. 5 generations deep of us, even living in Texas now we make time to go here and heal. There arent many places crowd free, that you can watch dolphins...

“Beautiful property and great staff. However there were too many dogs and lots of kids running around. There were no restaurant or spa reservations available the entire 4 days we were there. There needs to be more adult only spaces.”

“Very convenient location and surprisingly quiet [at least in our room], considering the proximity to the freeway and the abundance of young children present on the property. Our room was pleasant and our request for third floor room with beamed ceiling was accommodated. The sliding door on our balcony would not latch, but we felt safe enough with the chain lock engaged. Our room was not ready at 3:00 PM check-in. We were told it would be about 30-40 minutes and we would receive a call when...

“We loved our short stay here! The staff were all so sweet and the hotel itself was very clean and modern. There was even a wedding there one of the nights but it wasn’t disturbing to guests that weren’t apart of the wedding. They partnered with a close restaurant for breakfast and that was also delicious!”

“Very good accommodations! We're staffed one night because I had a charity bike ride in Ventura. This location is walkable to downtown and great parts of the beach. There was some construction/renovations ongoing when we stayed, and the room was set up well. The ocean view was technically true, but the view was mostly obstructed by another part of the hotel. We could hear traffic from the freeway, but we knew that when we booked. Staff was very kind and helpful.”

“Located out of Monterrey up on the hill with a good view on the area. Comfortable room, clean hotel. Cute small pool (closed in spring). Quick check-in even after 10pm. no pets allowed.”

“Nice little hotel located into perfect location. Very friendly staff and helpful. Rooms were clean. Have stayed two nights and it was very convenient.”

“Booked a queen room and got a full size bed. Ice machine was not working. Room had no wifi in it. Told the staff we were in a wifi dead zone and asked if we could switch rooms. We were told no and to connect our equipment downstairs. Ridiculous and rude. We lost 5 days of not being able to do our work! We were going to stay another week but left and checked into another motel with the promised emenities!”

“Terrible service through and through. Beautiful property but the service was so awful that we will not be returning. Also, zero pool chairs available. And I mean ZERO. A nice lady gave up one of her chairs for our family of 5 to have somewhere to sit down with our newborn…”
