“It was a mostly clean room. My only complaint was the floors were not swept or cleaned, but I did not complain and ask them to come sweep, which I am sure they would have. I killed at least 10 flies, but the cleaners usually leave the door open while cleaning them. ”

“Close to Wilkesboro and about 40min from historic Boone and blowing rock. One outlet to charge your phone and electronics which is nice for an unplug getaway. It's a quiet location without traffic noise. Very pleased with the cleanliness. I was a little nervous about the porta potty situation but it was SUPER clean and I was thrilled about that. Everything was great, I would stay here again. ”

“This location was so beautiful and was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 9). We enjoyed hearing the stream and the fire, laying in the hammocks, exploring the creek, and watching the horses. The hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance.”

“This property is close to Stone Mountain and relatively close to Elkin if needed.Their is agas operated shower in a bath house which was wonderful. The codes worked well to get in I love the tap light next to bed.The parking area was ample as I have a full sized pickup. Heard turkeys and saw other wildlife .Love the chair in the front and read and drank coffee. There is a water machine that gives you hot water or cold cold water out of the same machine. Well organized and well thought out!”

“The pictures do not give this place justice! If you’re looking for a safe quiet atmosphere to rest & unplug from the world this is the place. Less is more .. less distractions and more peace more rest more time to reflect and create anew! I would highly recommend and would come back here. Btw, owners are very responsive- I had no issues! ”

“This is a quiet and truly amazing place! The setting by the creek is peaceful, and the glass roof makes it magical to fall asleep under the stars. Renee is a wonderful host—warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Her breakfast was absolutely delicious and made our mornings extra special. I stayed here with my wife to celebrate my birthday, and we both thoroughly enjoyed every moment. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with a touch of charm and nature, this cabin is perfect.”
