“I arrived the evening of 28th August and the desk informed me that the hotel was CLOSED due to the presence of firemen in all the rooms for the fires in the area. The fact is I was not informed via mail or by cellular of the event and there were no hotel available in the area. So I was forced to find an accomodation most expensive in Bannon. Now I must control that no charge was made to my credit card.”

“Oceanfront Lodge Crescent City, California June 4, 2024 – June 5, 2024 This place gets a lot of negative comments in reviews, but we absolutely LOVED it. Every room has a stunning ocean view. There are paths right down to the water as it crashes the shore. The views are breathtaking. Sure, it’s an old funky hotel, but we had a great time there. The restaurant was great. When you walk in, you’re confronted with an amazing ocean view. Don’t miss the bread pudding. My wife hates bread...

“The Lighthouse Inn is a charming, older hotel that has been well maintained and was very quiet. Our room was large and quite comfortable. The front desk staff was happy to mark area highlights on a map for us. Continental breakfast was well stocked and convenient. Location was good for exploring both south and north to the Redwood National and State Parks and the Oregon scenic coastline.”
