“Positive: penthouse rooms are good for families. Gym is very good for a hotel. Negatives: pictures are somewhat misleading: there isn’t really a hot tub; the one in the pictures is the same temp as the pool and the one in the spa is like a tepid bath. Breakfast is ridiculous, you get to stand in line everyday for about 20 min while they act surprised that they have customers and when they say breakfast ends at 10, that is a lie. They start clearing all the food away whenever it pleases the staff...

“We had a lovely stay especially the friendly staff and the kennels was a real highlight.”

“Extraordinary location, extraordinary restaurant's wine list”

“A lovely gem in the country. Great for walker. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room and it was sorted - no fuss. The food was excellent and great selection for breakfast. Well worth a visit. 👍”

“Una Manor di altri tempo in mezza alla natura . Manutenzione fatta con passione , esperienza di altri tempi. Per me questo il vero lusso . Il piccolo villaggio adiacente East Meon da non perdere .”

“I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. “Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!”

“My room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping were extremely kind.”

“Al suo retro c'è un comodo parcheggio pubblico a pagamento, colazione ottima, il pub annesso ti dà la possibilità di mangiare, a piedi raggiungi la cattedrale. ”

“Staff were lovely”

“Albergo datato , camera con pavimenti in pendenza e soffitti bassissimi , urge una ristrutturazione”

“Must stay!”

“Great atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Blooms restaurant excellent. Also the good choice for breakfast with local produce very good.”

“Simple but clean and confortable hotel; room very big, very good conditions and quite. bed fantastic! Maybe the breakfast is not fantastic, but more then accettable.”

“appartamenti indipendenti struttura caratteristica inglese , colazione buona purtroppo ho trovato un pelo nelle uova strapazzate e non ho finito la colazione”

“Nice walking distance to Emsworth railway station. Staff friendly and helpful. An old building which is more of an Inn than a hotel. Car park is monitored by ANPR system. Patrons of the bar must register their vehicles at the bar (cannot return in less than 2 hours). Hotel guests register when they check in - not aware of any time restrictions. No breakfast facilities available so I suggest a list of nearby cafes that can offer this being provided.”
