“Beautiful hotel, very central, staff friendly, breakfast plentiful. Room was hot and difficult to cool down and very small. If we came back we would probably book a larger room and go at a different time of year.”

The room was spaceous but hot (despute having a fan) and not very aound proof (it was a dog next door that kept us awake one of the nights), it also didn't have plug sockets next to the bed and the water pressure of the shower was low. “Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. “This venue is very traditional and in an era from 1970s. I kind of like that! Staff were lovely and food was great. Golf course was beautiful although had been suffering with this summer heat. Buggies a must for me. Didnt use the spa facilities. Love the cricket memorabilia!”
