“We were so surprised. We drove past, were a little unsettled at the facade, went in and still unsure. There is some remodelling going on. During check in, we were put at ease. She was so helpful, engaging & friendly. Then she said, we need to go outside and go through the red door! WHAT? Really? As we were walking up, she told us the place was built in 1883,added a little history and that we had her favorite room and why, then showed us in. SO SURPRISED. “My wife and I were traveling from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque and wanted to stop along the way to break up the trip. This property fit the bill to a tee. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything (even sodas and some cookies), The bed we used was fantastic. We liked it so much we went shopping and made our own supper. The property manager communicated effectively.”

“Wow! This place is a slice of heaven! The peace, connection, and awe we felt for the land and our time together was incredible. Judy and Craig have this place outfitted. Very well equipped. The propane cook burners are bigger than I thought. Great quality. I was cooking for my family of six. They even have automatic outdoor lights so you can see at night if you need to make a trip to the restroom. The cleared trails make for some great walks as a family. “We loved our stay at the cabin. The cabin is rustic and true to the description, but still has the amenities you want or need to feel more comfortable (electricity, water, fridge, A/C). The views are beautiful and we loved cooking our meals out on the patio admiring the Spanish Peaks. Craig and Judy were so kind and quick to respond anytime we reached out. ”

“The cabin and property were exactly what we had hoped. We wanted to get away from the city and relax and this was just the place. It's situated on a large property with no ne else in sight. The view over the valley below and of the Spanish Peaks is amazing. Even though this is a bit remote, the cabin does offer wifi and has a streaming television. The cabin is cozy and it has a great kitchen for those that enjoy cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be returning again. ”
