“Ho prenotato un monolocale con una cucina. All'arrivo ci hanno dato una camera familiare con due letti singoli. La camera prenotata io dovrebbe avere un letto king size visto che eravamo due adulti. Ho spiegato al reception diverse volte e sempre loro risposta era we will inform management. Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni senza nessun soluzione e ultimo giorno ci hanno rimborsato 15 £. Pulizia della camera non è abbastanza. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato capelli in bagno e il pavimento non lavato....

“I am a bit disappointed to be honest. I’ve stayed here before and used to live on this road and know how noisy it can be, so I messaged ahead and asked for a room on a higher floor. I got given a room above the night exit and bins on the first floor. Cue 11pm and 2am wake up calls from staff putting out the bins and dragging furniture around every single night. I slept so badly the whole time I was there. The pub has gone through a bit of a refurb which is nice, but it does feel like it’s lost...

“We stayed for one night and were impressed by how well kept the hotel is following its refurbishment a few years ago. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the bar and had dinner in the restaurant, where the menu offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with options to suit all tastes. “Great room, only issue we had was a strong smell of sewage coming directly from the toilet itself (this will require looking into; room 204) which kicked in later into the night; we didn’t realise the bathroom door was open and so the smell came into the room which was quite unpleasant. Closing the toilet lid and door did help somewhat, but it was unpleasant when using the bathroom. But otherwise the room itself was incredibly clean and great decor. Shame about the lack of dining options on...

“The hotel is to undergo a referbishment in a months time. Our room was dreadful, with holes in the walls a television you could not watch as it was facing the ground. The furniture was very damaged”
