“An ideal stopover for us on our way to catch the ferry from Aberdeen. It's a relatively quiet part of the A1, leafy, and fields with distant views of Bamburgh and the sea (all rooms have this view so away from the road). We had a great family room, a bed each for us - 3 adults and 2 pooches. Staff were very friendly and hard working. Breakfast was great, tasty and plentiful. Thanks all, see you on our return.”

“This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again ”

“Welcoming staff, Alnwick is lovely. Room large, clean with tea and biscuits- great. Standard pub food, leak and potato soup more mash potato, but gammon and chips nice. Good helpful service throughout”

“Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.
