“Starland looks and probably is a remodeled Condo/AirBnb type development, so it has all the usual pluses and minuses that come with it. In other words, expect more of a rental unit type situation than either a hotel or motel. That being said, the remodeling was nicely done, the facilities are clean and secure, the beds are comfortable and best of all it is within a stone's throw of the Sylvia Park Mall. The price is affordable too, so if you want a no-frills and budget-friendly apartment unit...

“Room was refurbished on the inside but the fit and finish was sub par - to the point where security was a concern for me. Most concerning was the flimsy thin ply patched over the main entrance door. The door between the lounge and bedroom wouldn’t shut due to bad fit / installation. Big gaps between the external sliding door and wall create drafts for wind and extra outside noise”
