“A quiet location only a short walk from the beach. Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Good food, particularly breakfast. Recommended. ”

“If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”

“Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti per festeggiare il nostro anniversario in anticipo. Il personale è gentile e professionale, ci hanno trattato con molto riguardo facendoci sentire coccolati. La struttura è bellissima, soprattutto il giardino e la terrace. Le stanze sono arredate con cura, ci hanno anche offerto una stanza superiore senza supplemento perché avevano appena avuto una disdetta. Un soggiorno meraviglioso, spero di poter tornare. ”

“It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. The situation of the hotel made it easy to walk to the old castle, and Sherborne itself is picturesque and...
