“This little inn is full of personality. We stayed in the Grand Presidential Suite, which included a couple of marvelous balconies, one complete with a swing and fan. The bathroom was huge, as was the sitting room and walk-in closet. We loved the eclectic mix of furniture and decor as well as the old wind-up record player in the room. “Planter's Inn in a wonderful, older grande dame of a hotel. It is in need of some minor upgrades like painting, but it is overall is gorgeously decorated. The staff for us was marvelous. They even have a bellhop who will meet you at the door and take luggage to your room. There also is a guick valet service. The location, directly across from one of Savannah's beautiful squares, is convenient to everything. It is easily walkable to City Market and River Street. We will stay there again.”
