“Set near the top of Lubowa hill, Royal Victoria is quiet and very relaxing with a plant filled compound. The staff made me feel at home with daily chats on my needs (meals, etc). It's good value for money for a relaxing break.”

“One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had and I strongly advise against booking this property. The hygiene standards are extremely poor and far below acceptable levels. The bathrooms are not only poorly designed but potentially hazardous due to the awkward and unsafe alignment of the sink and toilet seat. “Very bad acces road especially after rain. Away from main road and any big shop. Breakfast was always late and room next to kitchen is a nightmare. No night time so no good sleep for you (noises). Owners are friendly but they need to be more serious about guests. No hot water in shower. Heater broken? No bin bags. Doors and windows are not soundproof like stated on www. Good view on the city may compensate above issues. I would come back but this time only on top floor.”
