“Check in staff was very friendly. Room was spacious, clean, and the rustic decor fit the location. Nice Lodge was close to Cookie Cabin, General Store, Sawmill Restaurant, and having Beyond Bread when everything else was closing or closed.”

“A beautifully maintained and historic hotel. Stepping through doors recall another quieter time. The rooms a spotless and the staff is very kind and helpful. The saxophone player in the library lounge was delightful”

“The room, or suite, was super comfortable and spacious. Room to hang out, and a separate place to sleep. One drawback for me was that the bed was not comfortable but on the other hand, my husband thought it was fine. The shower was large and lots of hot water, easy to use. The pool was nice, although the grab bars on the hot tub were loose, and could have caused a fall. On the whole, we had a good stay. PS the breakfast buffet was nicely done.”

“the place is obviously older and a bit outdated on the pullout mattress , the mattress was so thin you could feel the springs when laying down. it took a couple hours until i was able to actually fall asleep. luckily we just needed the stay for one night. breakfast was good but it was okay overall.”
