“This hotel is badly in need of maintenance and perhaps new management. The stairway carpets looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks and must have been over 10 years old. Breakfast was in a room by the lobby and did not vary for the almost 4 weeks we were there. The pool looked inviting and the deck was clean with nice lounge chairs. Breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs, link sausages, potatoes and make your own waffles. “My stay at El Conquistador was fabulous from the moment I arrived. The staff that checked us in were attentive and informative. One thing to keep in mind is that the nearest parking lot may not be located close to your room, requiring a bit of a walk. I am sure if you asked the front desk they would send someone to assist you. You can arrange a golf cart ride from staff to anywhere on the property.
