“The beds was not good ”

“Check-in was easy. My room was so spacious and clean. The staff was kind enough to switch out my down pillows for hypoallergenic ones. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus. Parking was easy. It was super quiet. There was a full, well stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.”

“I love this hotel! The staff is ALWAYS friendly, even late at night which is when I usually arrive. My daughter attends DSU and it is local to the school, so this I always my hotel choice in the area. The hotel is clean and the renovations have made it even nicer.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more of a continental style. Only thing that I could suggest is setting a maintenance schedule for the batteries in the room door locks. We had an issue with not being able to get in the room upon arrival but the staff was very helpful and apologetic. They also immediately moved us to another room when the room assigned smelled like someone had smoked in it. Overall the staff was friendly and accommodating. “This hotel I would not recommend no one go there because of the condition of it. The bathroom shower head is corroded, floor is missed up and has a hose under the towels and the mattress of the bed is too old and soft like a sponge. The person at the front desk was nice and respected. This hotel need a major upgrade to get customers to come back otherwise if they don’t upgrade or either remodel the place they will lose it. “The place was new inside and out, clean, and the staff was friendly as well as helpful. Really nice place to stay! Didn’t see much of Dover due to this being an overnight stop and go on our way to North Carolina outer banks. Would definitely stay there again if we were on our way through again.”

“When my daughter and I walked into our room, the toilet seat was up and the water was running. The bowl was stained brownish red and there were pubic hairs on rim. There were two queen beds. Mine had definitely been slept in and not changed. There were long hair strands on one of my three pillows and in the bed as well as small short black hairs on top and under the top sheet. There were also hairs in the moldy shower. It really was gross. Not what I would expect for one night at $139”
