“Upon checkout I was charged a $20 per day (plus tax) “Destination Fee”. When I questioned what that was for I was told “A lot of hotels charge that now. It’s for free wifi, the free continental breakfast, and the bottled water they put in your room.”Very interesting because their website lists these amenities as “included”. “I had a fully paid reservation, and at check-in I was asked to provide a credit card for the security deposit, which is perfectly understandable. However, even though I had four different credit cards, from four different networks, none of them worked with the hotel’s POS terminal. The issue was clearly not with my cards, but with the hotel’s payment system.
