“The hotel is very well located in Downtown Norfolk, making it convenient for restaurants, attractions, and exploring the area.
The property could benefit from some renovations and updates. The customer service staff were friendly and courteous; however, they were unable to resolve an issue involving a supposed double check-in that appeared in their system when there was actually only one stay.
Overall, it was a good experience, and I would consider staying here again for a couple of nights...

“Stayed 10 days for work -
Food was terrible
Carpets in hallways have years of stain - at least the 6th floor
On 6th floor the ice machine was broke apart and flooding - also this is dumping zone for trash so cross contamination w/ ice mist likely
Had to ask for a microwave
Police called once for disturbance but should have come more than that (more on this)
Back door completely broken - anyone can come in and that is usually where people smoke weed
Room didn’t have shampoo

“Very poor customer service. I made my reservation two weeks in advance and expected the hotel to honor my booking. On the day of check-in, my flight was delayed, so I called the hotel and spoke with the manager. I explained that I would be arriving late, and she assured me that it would not be a problem.
When I finally arrived, the receptionist informed me that the hotel was sold out and that my room had been given away. I was told they had tried to contact me but could not find my phone...

“I enjoyed our stay very much. All The room face a quiet little courtyard with plenty of seating. The room was clean; the beds were comfortable; the air conditioning worked without issues. The room has a small coffee maker and coffee, and a hair dryer. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, a Dairy Queen and Overview Diner. (I highly recommend breakfast at Overview Diner!). The staff/owners are available 24/7 and helpful.”

“Toilet wasn't clogged but wouldn't flush right our main door had a half inch gap in the corner of it had to put a towel in front of it to keep the bugs out air conditioner worked but looked like it was falling out of the wall . Called and asked staff for wash cloths said they were being washed went to the front desk later in the day lady wrote down the room number said they would take some up later never seen them . View of the bay was great pool was nice.”

“Hotel must have been very nice when it was new. But it really needs a major renovation. Elevators were mostly not running, mattresses were old and soft, furniture needs replacement. Staff were very helpful and friendly, it was the one saving grace.”

“The Hotel it self was great nice and clean but my wife and I was given a room that was not ready at all or swept properly. The bed was most definitely comfortable, the a/c & heating was on point and the hot water OMG was just great. My wife did bring her PS5 and we had trouble connecting it to the hotel wifi but we weren't really bothered by it because our main focus was enjoying all the activities outside of the hotel.
