The Gathering House - Sleeps 18
Set on over 1.7 acres in the heart of Drysdale. The Gathering House is a unique and perfect retreat for multiple families or large groups. With seven spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms and a generous layout designed for comfort.
Enjoy a large lounge for shared moments, a separate study for quiet time, and a kid's room stocked with toys and a TV to keep little ones happy. Step outside to explore expansive grounds, great outdoor entertaining area, in-ground trampoline and a fire-pit area
Lake Lorne is just a 2-minute walk away, the beaches of Clifton Springs and the many great wineries of the Bellarine Peninsula are a short drive away!
IMPORTANT TO NOTE - this is an older property that is clean, neat and tidy but some parts, mostly bathrooms, have not been updated. The front ensuite is very small. WIFI - unlimted SMART TV - x 2 GAMES: this property is equipped with many board games for family enjoyment! HEATING AND COOLING - there's split system heating a cooling in the lounge room. Theres ducted heating plus a fireplace in the main lounge, plus extra heating upstairs. Theres multiple free-standing fans throughout. Theres an old AC unit upstairs, its fairly effective but a little noisy. There are multiple ceiling fans throughout. BBQ - is a Weber Family Q - not the largest set up but sufficient for the number of guests that we can accommodate FIREWOOD - a portion of firewood is supplied, this should last 1-2 nights. You can purchase extra firewood at the local service station LINEN AND TOWELS - all provided. Please BYO doona or blankets for the sofa bed PETS - I'm sorry but we cannot allow pets at this property LAUNDRY - has a washing machine - I'm sorry the dryer is not working at this time, but we have multiple clothes horses for drying KITCHEN - all basics supplied - tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, long life milk. The property is equipped with sufficient kitchen items for large groups.
HENS/BUCKS, SCHOOLIES, PARTIES/GATHERINGS OF ANY TYPES ARE NOT PERMITTED. GUESTS MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 25 TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY. QUIET TIMES ARE STRICTLY BETWEEN 10PM AND 8AM. WE DO NOT ALLOW EXTRA GUESTS, 18 IS STRCITLY OUR MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY

There is one ensuite, two full bathrooms plus an extra shower in the mud room. The laundry has a washing machine.
This property is ideally suited to family groups, mature groups, or potentially bridal parties/wedding groups (with so many great wedding locations close by!). THIS PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SCHOOLIES, HENS/BUCKS OR ANY OTHER PARTIES. You must be over the age of 25 to book this property. Sorry, no pets.
Guests have access to the whole property, one or two cars can be parked under the carport, plus additional space for four or five cars in the driveway.
Check in details will be provided the day prior to your stay. GENERAL: All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood, and agree to abide, and be bound, by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules. Please treat our home as if it were your own. Please be respectful to our lovely neighbors. Strictly NO smoking at this property. Our home is NOT suitable for Schoolies, hens or bucks parties. You must be over the age to 25 to make reservation at our property. Please follow parking guidelines where provided.
CHECK IN/ OUT: Check-in time is not before 3pm on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10am on departure date. Late departure is subject to prior arrangement/availability and extra charges will apply. Failure to check out at the agreed time will incur a fee of $110 per hour. Check in and check out, contactless check in will be provided with key safe codes. Keys must be returned to the key safe upon checking out. If the keys are not placed back in the lock box a management fee will apply for us to allow housekeeping staff access to the property and if required replacement of keys.
COOKING: cooking of curries or other strong foods in this home will incur a $450 deep Cleaning fee due to the intense cleaning required to remove smells between short term stay guests.
THIS PROPERTY DOES ACCEPT PETS- the rear yard is fully enclosed, you must pick up after your pet. Maximum 2 dogs upon agreement only. No Pets inside the home apart from the garage for sleeping and must not under any circumstances be left inside the home unattended or go upstairs at all , to protect the polished floorboards. You understand you are responsible for damages caused by your pet, extra cleaning charges if there is evidence of a pet inside the home or for cleaners required to pick up dog poo from the yard.
UNAVAILABLITY: If the property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then we will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your stay, if we are unable to do so, all money paid will be refunded in full. Host on the coast will not be liable for additional accommodation costs in the event of these unforseen unavoidable circumstances.
PARTIES & FUNCTIONS: Parties are strictly prohibited. Breach of this will result in immediate eviction without refund and extra charges will apply for any additional, cleaning, garbage removal, repairs which may ocurr. We have the right to evict any guest during their stay if WE deem them to be in breach of the house rules. THIS PROPERTY IS STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES. There should be no disturbance to neighbors at anytime during your stay.
LINEN AND TOWELS: We supply all bed linen and towels. They must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Further linen may be hired upon request prior to arrival. Properties with pools will include pool towels for your stay. Any damage or stains requiring additional laundering or replacement of linen will incur a charge or replacement fee. Stays longer than 1 week may request a housekeeping service for cleaning and/or linen servicing charged at a fee. Stays longer than 2 weeks will incur a mandatory housekeeping service for an additional fee-please check what this is before booking. Failure to accept this after check in will be seen as a breach of the house rules and may result in termination of your booking without refund.
YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately if damages occur. We may recover from you repair or replacement costs. Occupancy must not exceed the agreed number booked for or the maximum listed as occupancy in the house description. Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise at anytime (day or night), is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses. Noise should not be heard from outside the property after 10pm. Call outs: Lost keys/lock outs will incur a $100 call out fee for management to provide access plus the cost of replacement keys if required.
Upon departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, crockery and cutlery washed and packed away, dishwasher emptied. If there is a BBQ onsite, it must be cleaned after use, failure will incur a $100 fee. You are responsible for removing any excess rubbish that does not fit in the outside bins. Excess rubbish charges will apply for any rubbish that is left behind (exceeds rubbish bin capacity). The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Extra cleaning charges will be incurred for the cleaning (but not limited to) of dirty dishes, dishwasher emptying, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish and so forth. All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived. Smoking is not permitted in the Property. A $400 fee will be applied to any property found to have been smoked in. No illicit drugs to be brought onto the property or persons under the influence to be allowed onto the property. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours. Host on the Coast is not liable for any damage or loss of property during your stay.

Cosy place for big groups
Great property for big groups. We were 3 families, 6 adults and 6 kids (between 3 and 9). The kitchen is very complete and spacious. 2 living areas, and plenty of beds.The outdoor area is very big so the kids can run free. And 3 minutes away from supermarkets.
