Hotel a Duck Run I

“Beautiful, peaceful location overlooking the river. Clean, spacious room. Lovely pool. Nice staff. Service at the restaurant was slow. ”

“Maybe spend a few minutes at check-in to give the guest all the info they need. After signing the reservation form, I was given a key and my room was pointed out me. No other info was given. Front Desk agent was in a hurry to leave the building. No WiFi info, location of resort amenities, or other property info was shared. We walked around to find the pool and discovered it was dirty with a bunch leaves and other debris. I learned about the walking trails after my departure from someone else....

“There was no restaraunt. The lighting in the room was atrocius. There was no front desk unless you called someone at another location at sign in. Room was very small.”

“I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“The place was extremely clean. It had a nice small kitchen area and nice refrigerator. The owner was super professional and informative. The facility has a Belizian car you can rent which you'll need because the attractions are not too close. The place is nicely tucked away off the main road going into town.”

“The property is amazing, lots of beautiful birds to see right from the porch area. The river is a 10 minute walk from the property. You can cool down and listen for monkeys. The Staff is super friendly and helpful. The meals are delicious, self-serve bar is awesome, and dining area is outside so you can enjoy being in nature. “If you are coming to San Ignacio, this is the place to stay! I cannot recommend this place enough and will 100% be staying here again when I come back. Great location, food, accommodations, safety, and vibes. Rose and her family are amazing, and she is an incredible chef.
