“The room was clean and a good size, comfortable beds and good air conditioning. I thought it could do with a couple of comfortable chairs and the remote didn’t work for the TV probably only needed new batteries”

“We were visiting numerous family members this was central to all of them. It was comfortable clean a reasonable size and reasonably priced and convenient parking. The only downside is it’s pet friendly so we had dogs barking at 3.50 am. If they put them at the other side of the premises it probably might help, all pet friendly apartments at one side and the people with no pets at the other end.”

“This was our second visit to this very nice hotel. Quiet, clean a d extremely comfortable close to Manuka oval, pubs, restaurants and Kingston foreshore dock.”

“Beautiful architecture from the 1920s when Parliament House opened in 1927. Restored to perfection. All the staff were migrants and all outstandingly polite friendly and helpful and I loved Pixel the Labrador the ex sniffer dog who lives with the General Manager I believe It’s an elegant statement of a bygone era and well managed. It’s a credit to everyone from front staff to the GM Well done”

“Hotel distante dal centro. E' necessario un pullman per raggiungerlo , ma a 10 minuti a piedi dal Parlamento. Struttura ben arredata ma che lascia molto a desiderare per quanto riguarda pulizia; abbiamo dovuto chiamare housekeeping per togliere la polvere nella stanza sopra i quadri e sopra le lampadine delle abat-jour dove c'era uno strato di polvere che non veniva tolto forse da mesi, l'abbiamo fatto notare alla reception. “Room was great but we were unable to connect to the TV to connect to streaming services. Most hotels these days have either a smart TV with this option or Foxtel channels. This is a perfect option for those cold nights in winter in Canberra.”

“I was assigned a room right next to the sliding door. I could hear the noise from the sliding door that opens and closes very often when people were coming in and out. I then asked for a room change. The new room was much better. However, when I checked out five days later, I was given a bill of $30 with a lunch charged to my old room. I remember that I never had that lunch. I only had breakfasts there.”

“There was no light in the first part of the bathroom with basin. The door to the main part of the bathroom creaked abominable.”

“The hotel is fine. The only thing I was not aware and this is something I would have liked to know is that there is nothing around. I did not have a car so in walking distance, it was nothing. The staff were very nice, nothing to complain about.”

“Love this hotel. Just wish the beds were comfier. Hotel seems so fancy compared to other vibes, but the beds seem so cheap. I stay here often and every time I go to the bed I am disappointed.”
