Esperienza alquanto negativa: Condizioni della location Non solo datata,ma anche sporca, Poca disponibilità da parte dei titolari, colazione misera e scadente . Nel resort se così lo vogliamo chiamare , si aggirano indisturbati (anche in cucina)gatti galline e galli che in piena notte iniziano a cantare fino a mattina inoltrata disturbando il sonno. In camera, materasso rumoroso,avvolto nella plastica di acquisto, asciugamani vecchi e bucati con odore strano. Un piccolo consiglio, spendete un po di più ma andate altrove!

We liked the rooms and the setting, and the staff was very friendly and the food was good, but nothing worked. The internet/wifi was down throughout our stay so the tv didn’t work which wasn’t a big deal except when it was raining, and the jacuzzi tub didn’t work, which had been sort of touted to us for the room we’d booked. Then the morning of our departure the water was off so we couldn’t wash up before we left. Much of this was blamed on local infrastructure but if outages like that are customary why not invest in a generator? Especially for the price we were paying.

Mr, James sorry that you did not bring this to our attention.We have a 100kw generator that hsa been in stalled in 2021. We have our own water sytem when the ciity water is slow or off. We appreicate your feed back and we would have been happy to turn on our water sytem for you. Sorry for any inconviences caused.

Harbour Island is an incredibly magical place and there are a lot of ways to experience it. You could stay in a super fancy resort on the beach, tie up your yacht in the marina, or AirBnb a tucked away house. Tingum Village is the place you go if you want to feel embedded in the island community- and it’s a beautiful, kind, generous and centered community. Ma Ruby is the hard working, problem solving, island historian and caring host. We will be back and we’ll stick to Tingum. There are fancier places, but this family owned hotel is priceless.

How could I rate something if they didn't have a room for us on our arrival date due to overbooking (the owner said a glitch on the system) on our arrival date I was bounced around and didn't get an answer, went to the alternative hotel that according to the owner she booked 2 rooms for us and they didn't have any reservations for us! I started calling other properties and finally got 2 rooms for the length of my stay. Called Expedia next day via chat (with Ahmet) and he helped me out with the cancellation of this reservation? who was never honored by the owner of Tingum. This person at Tingum told Ahmet that she had upgraded us and reserved rooms for us at the Romora, when I called them they had never heard about a reservation on our name and/or from Tingum. I am not going to make any reviews about this place as they don't deserve good and/or bad comments, but if they can't honor a reservation they shouldn't be accepting any electronic reservations through Expedia. By the way, Ahmet was efficient, friendly and professional helping me solve this problem, thanks for your great work! This Island is very expensive and we were traveling for work (crewmembers of a private aircraft) luckily we solved the lodging problem still within budget as the other alternatives were almost double the price or of very low quality.

I had a flight cancelled last minute so i booked a stay here and i have to say that the staff were the most friendly staff i have ever encountered anywhere i have ever stayed. They made me feel so welcomed after a super stressful day. It was a cute little hotel and i would stay here again if i was on harbour island. Thank you for your hospitality !!!

Juanita knows everyone and it shows. When travel to the island went awry she made arrangements and stayed late to get us checked in welcome us home. Food is great and local. Tips of where to go and explore are perfect. After adventurous days you can rest wel. The beaches are amazing and at times you feel like no one else is on the beach and much of the time that’s true. Local food is awesome and the vibe is chill. Should have stayed more days here. We will be back.

They were out of guest sized shampoo, and we never had internet or TV in our room…. so in a way it forced us to unplug, but it also forced us to dine there less, because we went to other sites for internet and TV. Extremely nice staff, great location.

Mr. ScottSorry that our team member did not pt shampoo in your room. We have lots behind the check in counter . We are up grading and unfortunately the Cable and internet lines were cut behind the dinning patio. Only in the lobby areas has internet until the lines are restored.

Loved our stay! The staff made us feel like home right away. The cook at the restaurant there was great too! Could use some updates but we didnt mind because it was very clean, and just felt great to be there.

Lisa sorry our hotel was not the standard you were looking for.. We appreciate your feedback and we will address your concerns. Durning your stay there was water leak as a result the water pressure was low. The wall had to be jack hammered to locate the leak. Our aim is to offer and authentic and exciting experience and please our guest at any cost. You should have communicated with us and you would have been fully refunded.

We loved our stay. Juanita made sure we had a golf cart when we got there. Staff was welcoming and the food was good. Will stay there again.

I’ve never met a more tentative and caring hotel owner than Juanita. AKA Baby Ruby! She runs a tight ship and she and her staff couldn’t be more kind. If she felt something wasn’t up to her liking or standard, she made sure it was taken care of. I loved my “Deluxe Standard” room. It definitely reflected the feel of a true Bahamian setting. By the time our visit was over, we felt like family and were talking plans for the future. Juanita definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! There are a few friendly roosters on the property, so if you’re a light sleeper bring along some ear plugs. Highly recommend the Tingum Village Hotel.
