“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. “Fabulous house for large groups. Very well equipped. Would definitely recommend.Only negative was the house wasn’t very warm despite the heating being on full, however, we did stay at one of the coldest times of the year with frost outside.Another point to note, take extra care when using the hot tub at night as the lighting to get to it from the house is poor”
