“It is a really beautiful hotel and the room was well-appointed, but it is in serious need of a refresh, and it wasn't the room we booked. We got in very late, and the situation was handled satisfactorily by the next morning, but there was no explanation of how our reserved room ended up given to someone else. The bigger issue I saw was that things just need to be redone. Multiple people in our party had trouble with the tv remotes, because they were so worn the buttons didn't work. One of the...

“Excellent hotel. The ambience and people make this an almost 5 star hotel. Conveniently located on Duke’s campus. Great place to stay when touring colleges, because it is conveniently located on Duke’s campus. The dining menu is limited, but this is okay because Duke’s campus has a smorgasbord board of fantastic restaurants right on campus.
