“Charming hotel close to the train station. The manager was kind enough to carry my luggage up and down the stairs. I arrived exhausted and fighting a froggy voice. The food was amazing and I slept well.”

“Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back.”

“All the staff at the castle were so friendly and very helpful, the lady's in the breakfast room were very busy, but went out of their way to help us. Food was beautiful. Both from the breakfast and bar menu.”

“I was only booked in for one night. Young man who booked me in was very friendly and assisted me with taking my suitcases up stairs as unfortunately there is no lift. The stairs are rather narrow. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Food from restaurant was good and fairly reasonable. Unfortunately I didn’t get breakfast which is included as I had an early train to catch.”

“The staff here are absolutely wonderful creating a real home from home! The food in the restaurant was top notch and the drinks were served with care and attention. There was a lack of any kind of “ale” from the bar (neither bottles or cans) but that was the only missing item really. Almost everything is good but a couple of improvements would be around housekeeping - didn’t top up tea, sugar or bodywash on each day and we didn’t notice of course until needed!
