“Staff was friendly and the food was excellent in the restaurants. Bar was woefully under-staffed in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and ocean view decks were sheltered from the wind and of a nice size.”

“The breakfast was delicious- lots of eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, fresh fruit... The pool is not heated so it was very cold. The pub was great! Beautiful inside and out. Most comfortable bed and sheets I have ever slept on. ”

“Overall the property was ok. Staff was helpful. Located near food locations and a short drive to shops and the ocean. Room had an overwhelming deodorant smell. Bathroom was not spotless. Property could use some updates. Pool area was decent. I requested an early check in which was accommodated by staff without any problems. ”

“I actually kind of loved it despite parts of my review. It was in a perfect location and the landscaping was beautiful. The price is really great for the area. The staff were super accommodating and nice. There was plenty of space and a little balcony to sit on and enjoy a beer or glass of wine at the end of the day. The downside? The suite, while very large, was lacking in kitchen equipment (pots but no utensils, a few plates and bowls but not even any salt and pepper) and even though they...

“Construction makes it difficult. It had a weird smell also that gave us a headache. Staff was nice. Parking was difficult. ”

“Very clean room and super friendly staff. Every time I visit St. Simon’s Island this is where I stay.”

“Relaxing property with onsite restaurant, pool, and golf. Was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade when checked in which included a living area and full kitchen (considered a suite). Took a peaceful 4 mile walk each morning around the grounds and surrounding houses on the golf property. This was a mother/daughter weekend of sitting around the pool, reading, shopping and eating and this property for the bill!”

“Very rough part of town… adjacent buildings with boarded windows and people loitering at all hours. Right next to a loud bar. Six foot fence around property, I think that’s enough said. Only positive the doors are internal and not external.”

“The property definitely gives what you pay for. The rooms can definitely use an update feel. There are minor/simple things that can make the room better looking. Updating the paint on walls maybe some accent decor, discard the bedding if it has spot on them. The overall stay wasn’t bad the pictures advertised should reflect the room my personal opinion.”

“Room clean, but it smelled like wet dog. It stunk. When I asked the cleaning crew if they had anything we could spray they said we'd need to go to front desk. We were on our way out and bought lysol. It masked to some extent the smell. We had 2 rooms and both smelled really strong wet dog smell. Great Staff. Great Breakfast. Couldn't see beach, but, we knew this location was a second road back. ”
