“This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. “One elevator for the entire 5 floor property which is incredibly slow on top of that the $20+ breakfast is a joke I've had better at other 2 star hotels hotel staff was helpful restaurant staff not so much there pool is very nice though and the pool side bar staff is great overall not a terrible place but they definitely don't earn that 3 star hotel rating property needs a lot of maintenance”

“I request that they staff in housekeeping check the plugs in the bathroom because they’re not rising, which means the faucet overflows aside from that everything was perfect”

“We arrived at 12pm and asked if we could leave our vehicle while my family and I went to the beach, the guy said he would call when the room was ready but he never did. We were at the beach until 4:30 and wanted to check in but the guy left and said he won’t be back till 5pm. A lot of other upset guest wanting to check in and couldn’t. We were tired and needed to shower. The blow dryer in the room didn’t work and I kept smelling electrical burn.”

“The staff was extremely nice. The only complaint I have is the room smelled like mildew. It's a bed & a bathroom which served it's purpose. It was very clean though. We wanted a room on the beach & that's what it is.”

“The home was nice. Just a short walk to the pier, the trollies and the beach. Not much of a need to drive many places. We loved that part. It is very close to some bars. We had a bunch of kids and was concerned about that but no one bothered us and it wasn't noisy. The neighbors were friendly who lived around there. Very minor complaints and they were just inconveniences.”

“I reserved a room for me and my kids and as soon as I entered the room we took our shoes off and the floor was dirty and sticky. One of the lamps stop working as soon as I turned it on they only gave me one towel and the ceiling had mold I wouldn’t recommend this hotel because you can’t even use the swimming pool because it was never cleaned and the water was green. The bed sheets had stains and felt dirty.”
