“We stayed recently for 2 nights as a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby). The room was small but comfortable and had all the amenities we required. The breakfast was delicious with a great range of food choices. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel location was good and easy to find. Plenty of parking spaces outside. ”

“I strongly disagree with a a method of rating that rates 8-10 as good to excellent and 1-7 as poor. Think of your staff and how you can make their experience and expectations better over customers who will stay 1-2 nights and can complain about the thing and it’s probably been the best sleep and breakfast they’ve had in a long time. Think about your staff in the strange rating culture that we live in, please!”

Morgan at Reception on Tuesday afternoon 15/7/25 was fantastic… very helpful, very pleasant! Dinner was very nice…and the wait staff pleasant and efficient! “A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building.”

“We stayed in the apartment which was really spacious, it is a fabulous house with well thought out decor. Cleanliness was second to none, so if that's what concerns you when travelling, then Eagle house is for you its spotless. Andy and Helen are great hosts and very welcoming.
