“I booked a superior room for 2 nights with my wife. We arrived about 2.30pm and the room wasn’t ready. There was some confusion from the front desk about our later dinner reservation, the receptionist stated I didn’t have a booking and despite my assertions she didn’t really seem to believe that I had booked it months ago. “Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience.”
