Hotel vicino a Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall - Stratford upon Avon

“What a fantastic stay! Parking right next door (public carpark), and the hotel is directly opposite Shakespeare’s New Place house. The front of the building is the old Tudor Falcon Inn which is a really spectacular building and they have respected the interiors which is nice. The rest of the hotel is a 1960’s building which has been sensitively redone and modernised in a very stylish way. We were warmly welcomed- all the staff were fantastically welcoming and friendly. “We stayed two nights. The hosts were amazing. Great choice for breakfast. Very convenient for the town. The bedroom was quiet with a lovely view to the garden. Didn’t realise there was a fridge until the last day!! We will return hopefully when the weather is better”

“From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days”

“Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags. But when we got to the hotel after checkin time , there was reception in the Pub. She was very nice and got us checked in quickly. Place was old and could use a dusting of the...

“Very clean - nice accommodations. We had a very large suite - great for 3 and could have accommodated up to 4 comfortably.”

“The hotel is fine, the bed is comfortable, they have a nice outdoor area, breakfast and wifi connection are decent, iron and iron board are provided in the corridor for anyone to take to their room, I appreciated the coffee and the biscuits in the room, so all in all, for my travelling style, I would come back again Having said that I must point out the aspect needing improvement as I heard other customers being set off by those 1st and most annoying, the absence of anyone in the hotel....

“La camera si trova sopra il pub in una via in pieno centro storico. Per il prezzo pagato è sicuramente un’ottima sistemazione, usciti dalla porta siete subito sulla via principale dei negozi e ristoranti e a pochi passi dalla casa di Shakespeare. Il letto è comodo , il bagno privato decente e avete la macchina del caffè/tè a vostra disposizione. Il parcheggio coperto è a un minuto dalla struttura ed ha un prezzo accettabile rispetto ai parcheggi inglesi”
