“The room was bleak and not welcoming with vinyl flooring and the rooms have not been updated, nor the TVs. Lighting was too bright with no bedside lighting, only recessed lighting. No enclosed closet, just a rack to hang clothes next to the desk with a shelf. The room had an usual odor which stayed in my clothing and hair. Not enough towels or wash cloths for 2 people (only 2 towels). The bed cover looked dingy and just not clean. The "so-call" complimentory coffee was downstairs in the lobby...

“Lovely surroundings leading into the hotel, pretty okay parking (no valet, $35 a night for self park in the structure with parking pass required, a short walk, clean and plentiful though), check-in was GREAT thanks to Luke who was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic and shared the right information about the property and was enthusiastically ready for questions. “From the outside, the property looks perfectly acceptable, but once one gets closer to the room, it’s a trash pit. The sidewalk, stairs and walkway to the room was littered with trash. There was a half full bottle of Gatorade pushed into the outside corner of the room, and for the 3 days we were there it never moved. The room was a mess. “It was like sleeping in somebody’s bedroom that really didn’t care about it. Drawers were dirty inside no hair dryer sheets were questionable. So much more I could say but honestly, you’ve got the idea. I guess when you’re only paying $100 a night you can’t really expect much more than that by the beach. The staff was very nice. We got an early check-in. The positive is it’s close to everything within walking distance. Beach is an about 5 miles away.”

“First of all, the staff were excellent! I also appreciated that the parking was convenient. Those are 5 out of 5. Unfortunately, the room had a very strong perfumey smell when I arrived. I tried to air it out, but it was so strong that my bags and clothes absorbed some of that smell :( There was also a foul smell at the bathroom sink, which seemed to be coming from the drain.
