“If I can give this place a lower star, I would starting off the bat we need to change the pictures, some of the review that are good are ppl to probably are moving thru staying one night. because it is nothing as what you see when you try to book this hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere very sketchy area trucking highway, the hotels under construction, and even the construction or the areas that are done. Still need to be worked on. We got our first room. There were dead bugs that look like...

“I had no issues with Ameristar My issue is with Expedia They WILL NOT SEND ME A REFUND FOR MY CANCELLED ROOM Expedia CLAIMS they have to abide by the property’s terms even after ameristar told them it was ok to cancel ”

“Room was okay. Door to patio stuck slightly open. Bathroom did not have any place to hang towels, except one short rod for a hand towel. Check-in was fast and easy. Gentleman who helped us was efficient and friends. During our two night stay, DeeDee worked the front desk over the weekend. She greeted guests as they entered, asking about their breakfast or their day. Truly a GREAT representative of the hotel. We easily walked to Royals games just across the street. Great location.”

“I really enjoy my stay. The hot tub worked perfectly. It was great. The temperature was great. The breakfast was good. He just didn’t have a lot of selections, but from what I did have, it was good. The room was clean. The people at the front desk were nice. It was quiet. Don’t really have any complaints.”

“Property is older, secluded and in dark area outside. It is right next to interstate which makes it convenient. Breakfast had some option but still seemed limited - I did not try anything. AC in room worked fine. ”

“This is exactly what you would expect for an extended stay property at this price and location. The room was acceptable but plain, you could hear people moving around at times, and the only amenities I noticed were the fitness room and the vending machine. Bummed that there was no ice machine. Close proximity to several fast food restaurants. Staff was friendly and accommodating.”

“I loved this place, especially for the price. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Everything was clean. I loved how they put my name on tv and welcomed me when I first arrived. I will make sure I stay here next time ”

“Our first room was dirty. Someone’s dirty socks on the floor & hair on floor in bathroom. Was lucky they had another room to switch us to. The next room had a wet floor after the rain, not sure if leaked through window or ac unit. Breakfast at 7am was already running out of food, Will not stay again or recommend.”

“Really nice newly remodeled room just missing a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Other than that, would plan ahead and definitely stay there again.”

“Breakfast offerings needed attention. Eggs were dried out. We stayed 4 nights, no bed changed, no fresh towels, had to get towels at front desk. Staff was very nice, friendly, helpful. We had to eat breakfast at a restaurant. ”

“Nice setup to the room, clean, polite/helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Overall, great for the price point. If I’m ever back in that area, I will absolutely stay here again!”
