Una classica vacanza al mare lungo la Baia di Perdido ea pochi minuti dal Golfo del Messico attende fino a 14 ospiti in questa casa vacanza con 5 camere da letto e 4. 5 bagni. Ideale per gruppi di amici intimi, riunioni di famiglia o un semplice ritiro per il relax, questa casa è stata costruita per la prima volta nel 1928, è stata tramandata tra 5 generazioni e presenta nuovi aggiornamenti da un vasto restauro fatto nel 2008. Goditi una posizione tranquilla sul lungomare e infinite avventure con i kayak, le canoe e molto altro!

Perdido Bay è il tuo cortile quando prenoti questa casa lontano da casa ristrutturata! Delfini, aironi, pellicani e varietà di pesci chiamano la baia casa e le acque sono calde e salmastre: perfette per i nuotatori di tutte le età e abbastanza basse per i bambini!

Le brezze delicate e la musica delle onde si muovono intorno alla casa, creando un ambiente incomparabilmente tranquillo per la tua prossima vacanza. Durante i periodi di inattività, rilassati nell'ampio portico schermato che circonda la grande sala e le camere da letto, rannicchiati con un buon libro sull'amaca, i letti oscillanti o le sedie a dondolo e sfida i tuoi compagni ad amichevoli partite di ping-pong sul portico posteriore.

All'interno della grande sala, arredi nuovi di zecca mescolati con alcuni oggetti antichi di famiglia creano un'atmosfera costiera rustica per tutte le ore di svago. Quando non esci ad esplorare l'attività sul lungomare, rilassati davanti al camino a gas e guarda i programmi e i film preferiti sulla TV via cavo a schermo piatto.

La zona giorno si apre liberamente al tavolo da pranzo formale esteso con abbastanza posti a sedere per l'intero gruppo e la cucina gourmet completamente attrezzata! Un soffitto con pannelli in legno personalizzati, mobili bianchi, pavimenti blu e accenti verdi evidenziano lo spazio della cucina, dove è possibile allestire feste gourmet utilizzando elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile tra cui un piano cottura incorporato sul grande bancone dell'isola.

Un paio di kayak, canoe e 1 paddleboard sono disponibili per le tue avventure quotidiane nella baia, mentre una griglia a carbone sul ponte ti consente di ospitare barbecue serali dopo ogni escursione. Ogni camera da letto si apre sul portico con vista sulla baia e una guest house completamente indipendente funge da camera da letto aggiuntiva per chi cerca maggiore privacy durante la notte!

Our group of 11 stayed very comfortably. It was nice to stay at a short term rental where you were not provided with the least expensive and most limited amount of items. I’m not saying other rentals are wrong in doing this, it was a very nice unexpected surprise: knives that cut, fully stocked kitchen, so many towels and linens at our disposal, a second roll of toilet paper, garbage bags, basic kitchen items like parchment paper, aluminum foil, coffee pot filters, the list goes on. It felt like coming home not a rental. The house is not overly large, but it is spacious and has an open concept in the living areas that are perfectly furnished and layed out to very comfortably accommodate a large group. The listing says accommodates 12. Our group was 11 and we had no problem being in the kitchen together. It seems designed with the purpose of gathering and enjoying each other. However, 3 of the rooms only have access through the screened in porch and one is completely separate from the house, so there is a decent amount of privacy to be had as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to the bay, the kayaks, the ping pong table, and the many chairs and swings in the covered porch. Beautiful home would highly recommend a stay!

Lazy days on the wrap around porch. Kayaking in the shallow beach water area. BBQ’n on the sand and watching the boats pass in the channel with pelicans galore and dolphin fins visible. Game and puzzle nights at the long table inside and the two tables on the porch. We cooked all 4 days and never needed anything as far as kitchen gear. It was The Escape We All Needed.

The house was spacious & comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The kids (& adults) thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks & paddle boards. If a beach experience is desired, be aware that the Gulf is a good ways off by car. We had a wonderful vacation!

This was a wonderful place for my extended family to gather. There was plenty of room for my group’s seven adults and four kids to be together but not on top of each other. The huge porch with swings, hammock, and rocking chairs was a favorite hangout spot for everyone. We like to eat dinner together as a family so the spacious kitchen and dining table were perfect. The house overall, and the kitchen in particular, were well stocked. Tucked away in Perdido Beach, the house is removed from traffic and noise, offering a serene retreat.

It is hard to decide what to mention first. The amazing wrap around porch that overlooks the water and sand, with swinging pallets and rocking chairs, makes a wonderful place to sit and watch your kids play in the sand. Playing in the water was great too, it is nice and shallow for kids. The owners lend the use of kayaks and canoes and even life jackets, which really amped up the fun. Gathering at the end of the day in the large kitchen and around the great table, for dinner and games, may have been the best though. There were plenty of comfy couches and seating in the living room as well and more than enough bedding, towels and kitchen equipment for our group of 13. It was an amazing spot and we plan to return annually!

No complaints at all about the house, guest house, or property. It was tidy and clean when we got there, with plenty of linens and towels. Beds and pillows were so comfy! Loved the place! My only complaint is the neighbor to the right of the house. I was not a fan and he obviously is a miserable person. If it wasn’t for him I would go back and recommend more people to go but with the neighbor I just can’t.

We so enjoyed our visit in this home on Perdido Bay. The home was beautifully and comfortably decorated and had everything we needed and so many special touches. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 teens/children - loved having space to spread out and relax as well as gather. The home was exceptionally clean and beds were very comfortable. The dining table seats 14 and the kitchen is huge! Two refrigerators and two large sinks on opposite sides make cooking for a group so easy. We absolutely loved being right on the bay. The kayaks and paddle board were fun for our whole group, and the screened porch was amazing for morning coffee while watching dolphins play right in front of us, and naps during a rainstorm. The owner/host is friendly and accessible, responds almost immediately, and provided privacy during our stay. We can't wait to visit again!

This property is amazing. We had our family of 6 adults, 2 teens, 2 children under 6yo, and a baby. The house was perfect - beautiful in both decor and lay-out. Three of the five bedrooms have their own access to the large wrap-around porch - perfect for everyone to have their own privacy. We practically lived on the porch facing the bay. The view was breathtaking and the breeze was wonderful! We were able to tie up our boat in the bay for use during the day and were provided a dock on the calmer 'creek' side to dock in the evenings. The swimming set-up is perfect for the kids! The water is shallow enough that the kids could safely play. The house is VERY well stocked with anything you could need. and the hosts were so kind and extremely accommodating! Hated to leave but we WILL be back!

Plenty of room, privacy, absolutely fabulous, fully equipped home with magnificent kitchen. Not in a tourist area. We all loved the beach and the water, just steps away from house. 30 min drive to beautiful turquoise water and white sand. 1 preteen, 4 teens and 6 adults. There was something for everyone. Owner lives next door but was never intrusive, available if we needed anything. Everything was just fabulous.

The house is very lovely. It’s nicely decorated but not to nice that you have to worry about the kids. The beach area is nice and the bay was perfect for swimming. The only thing is the owner lives literally right next door. We wasn’t bothered by them whatsoever. I just think this should be full disclosure when renting the property. Also, your 30 minutes from anywhere. Overall we really loved this house and made lots of memories here.

This home is a very cool southern comfort home. The wrap around porch was so spacious, the kids had lots of room to play when it rained. We had 6 adults and 5 kids plus visiting relatives and had plenty of room in the house. The porch was so relaxing. Can’t wait to go again!

We tok a family vacation to stay away from the hustle and bustle. We loved this location!!! Nothing negative to say, we are already talking about going again next year. Our kids fished, we tanned and relaxed! I could go on and on but if your wanting a place to relax not have a care and get away from everyday hustle this is the place hands down to go. We will be back for sure!!

This is one of the best rental properties I have ever stayed in. We came with a large family group and enjoyed every part of this home especially the screened in porch facing the water! So peaceful and so beautiful!! The home is the best stocked home that I have rented - plenty of everything from paper products to dish towels and bath towels. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked! We did not lack anything in this home. The owner of this home is particularly welcoming and her family home is wonderful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful and clean home with us. I highly recommend this house for its beauty, its location and its cleanliness. We intend to come here again!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here. An extended family of 11 was comfortably accommodated in this spacious and beautifully maintained historic home. Priscilla was a delight--just the right amount of warmth and leaving us to ourselves. We felt well supported and would definitely return. Kitchen is well supplied with dishes and tools. Numerous bedrooms and bathrooms together with large shared spaces make for an ideal setting.

We absolutely loved our stay in this home. Every amenity you could think of was provided by the owner. The bedrooms, spacious kitchen, and wonderful porch made our stay very comfortable. The children loved swimming and fishing in the bay. This home is truly a treasure and I am so glad that the owner opens the doors so that other families can enjoy quality time together in such a peaceful setting. We most definitely will revisit this home again.

This is a great place! We had 8 adults and 4 children. My favorite thing about the house was the giant kitchen table. We were all able to sit and have meals together. The kitchen was very well stocked and very spacious! The wrap around screened porch is awesome. We had 3 children under the age of 5 so it's very nice that you can latch the screens and not worry about them getting out and heading to the water. It was very nice in the evening to sit on the porch and relax. The house came with a canoe, kayaks and life jackets for all ages. The family enjoyed going out in the canoe. While we were there the water was calm. Tide was high so not a whole lot of beach area. My nephews fished but didn't catch much. However we still managed to have a good time. We weren't too far form things to do. We visited alligator alley, The Wharf in Orange Beach and The Hangout in Gulf Shores. By recommendation of Priscilla the house manager we went to Johnson Beach in Florida which was not as crowded and just as pretty! The kids loved the white sand and the beach area was very clean ! Water wasn't very blue cause of all the storms that area has had lately. There were public restroom and a picnic area. Well worth the $15 to get in. All in all an awesome experience. My only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this house!

We had 6 adults, 4 kids, 2 teenagers and a baby and we all fit very well without the use of the guest house. The kitchen and living area is very spacious with lots of seating and the kitchen is absolutely amazing! There is a bedroom with a double behind the kitchen and a pantry/laundry area off the kitchen as well. To get to the other 3 bedrooms you enter the screened porch area, each bedroom has a private entrance off the screened porch. The porch side facing the water receives a nice breeze and was a favorite place to sit. Everyone enjoyed the bay area. Canoeing, kayaking and fishing - the water was choppy because of storms a couple days but otherwise it was almost like being on a lake. There is no beach but the water is very shallow so the kids enjoyed swimming and hunting for hermit crabs. There is grocery and restaurants in Foley, AL about 20-25 min away. We also visited Johnson Beach, Naval Aviation Museum and Pensacola lighthouse which were all about 30 min. away. This is a great house for relaxing but not too far from local attractions for fun outings! The owner is also very helpful and will quickly answer any questions you may have - you will definitely enjoy your stay!
