“Really disappointed with our stay. One of the main reasons we booked was for the swimming pool and spa facilities, but a few days after making the booking we were informed they wouldn’t be available. Unfortunately, because I hadn’t paid extra for the flexible cancellation option, I couldn’t cancel and get a refund. Lesson learned. I’d also be careful with the half-board option. We paid an extra £300 for two nights for a family of four, only to find an almost empty breakfast buffet one morning....

Il bagno era stato pulito molto in fretta, se era stato pulito: sul lavandino c'eral'impronta di una saponetta usata precedentemente, la parte del WC sotto l'asse era sporca di urina in più punti. Il pavimento del bagno era stato scopato, ma lurido perché non lavato probabilmente per più giorni. Nella teiera nell'armadio della camera abbiamo trovato le bustine di té bagnate del cliente precedente!...

“Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships.”

“When visiting Portsmouth this properties location in between the Historic Dockyards and Gunwharf Quays meant that for our three day stay we could easily walk to all of the major attraction. The fact it has its own car park was also a plus although you could easily travel there by public transport due its close proximity to the bus and rail stations. “Great friendly professional staff. In a great location with bars and restaurants just outside. Ate in the 6th floor restaurant which had great views and quality food. Mention to Stefan concierge who helped with our questions.”

“Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. Ma il water ricavato in uno spazio minuscolo e angusto è assurdo. Colazione appena sufficiente e quasi limitata all'essenziale. Al prezzo di € 170 a notte mi sarei aspettato molto di più. Bocciato assolutamente.”
