“This property offers the luxury of a resort with the down-home experience of a ranch. Peaceful, gorgeous views - especially at sunset from the "Quiet Rock" deck. Or the sunrise from the swing near the Main Lodge. Mark is a gracious host who shared his love of the property by introducing us to Waffles, the donkey, Flowers, the cow, & numerous other animals. “A terrific getaway for an extended family.........Our family (all four generations) enjoyed this property on a recent weekend. The grounds are extensive, covering several acres. The main house sits elevated high above an extensive meadow. It has suites on 3 floors and we used all 3 floors but only the main kitchen (there are two others). We used the basement and second floor for the bedrooms only. The main kitchen opens up to a large dining area/gathering room with enough seating room to...

“A very nice condo. Beautiful views and very quiet. I feel like the water pressure could have been better in the upstairs bathroom. The couch in the living room is great if you want to climb in and get cozy, but it would have been nice to have a regular couch that you could just sit on. As someone with mobility and back issues it was hard to always have to climb into the couch and not to have a good regular comfortable space to sit on. The place was clean and offered many clean accessories to...

“This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in Galena. We have stayed at a lot of them. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Love the TV watching setup and the furniture was comfortable. So unusual in a rental. Both my husband and I have back issues so need support and a way to put up our feet. First time we went home without pain/discomfort. Loved that one of the showers was a normal size and not a tiny square. We stayed for a week and didnt need the air conditioning with the windows open...

“We weren't informed that a tree fell on the upper deck and tore off all the railings making the deck unusable, this is where we planned cooking on the grill and relaxing days and nights, we had to carry food down 12 steps and across the building length to cook on a very cheap grill with a small surface, I'm 73 yrs old so the steps I didn't appreciate. If we were informed of the damage we would have booked elsewhere. Description was misleading to me as I thought there was a pool at the property...
