“Nice location, clean room and a wonderful breakfast served by a lovely lady who was very welcoming and created a good experience. The type of property and location was perfect for me as I prefer to stay away from big hotels, and it certainly lived up to my expectation. I stayed on a Monday night and when I returned at 9pm from a local event the bar and restaurant were closed and no staff around. It would be good to know about that in advance, so best to check before arrival if that is important...

“The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. “Fix the wifi, fix the fan, do something about the too much light getting into the windows. Serve breakafast to guests until 11am. Fix the toilet door upstairs, its clunky, heavy and uncomfortable. Do something to get rid of spiders.”

“Some sort of food scattered on the floor freezing cold bedroom felt like we were in a refrigerated room. Rail on the stairs was not safe wobbled as you held onto it. Stuff were very pleasing when we arrived. Stayed for an hour and decided to move out to somewhere more suitable the same day.”
