“Old style british Hotel...senza lode e sena infamia. Il personale cordialissimo e gentile, ed anche la cucina non malvagia. C'è un comodo parcheggio coperto, ed il pub/ristorante ha sia posto all'interno che all'esterno quando bello. Si affaccia su un fiume navigabile...carino come posto, ma non aspettatevi lo stile europeo.”

“The whole place is exceptional! We have stayed before and as a family it’s one of our happy places. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are so welcoming and attentive, facilities are spotless and it’s a beautiful setting and interior design. The food wasn’t as good as our previous stays the restaurant was a little slow and our food was on the cold side but the charming staff made up for it. We preferred breakfast when it was in the main property the kids were disappointed the pancakes had...

“The room was comfortable and warm, with everything we needed. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and couldn't have done enough for us. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The only comment I would make is that plates should be warmed (our evening meal and breakfast was lukewarm, due to cold plates). (Heatlamp doesn't warm plates sufficiently). Also, the music, during breakfast was too loud...however, it was turned down when requested. Having said that; this didn't take anything away from...
