Hotel vicino a Saint George's Hill Golf Club - Weybridge

“I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

“Room was nice and cosy , unfortunately had to leave for work every day to early for breakfast but there were some bits and pieces there if I wanted , plenty of hot water for a bath , bed was nice and comfortable, the only bad thing was someone had been in the room and taken my shampoo and razor the day before I left so could not was my hair or have a shave ”

Spifferi dalla finestra, moquette antica, ragnatele, wc credo mai pulito nel vano interno del bordo, incomprensione tra reception e bar, breakfast domenicale 30 minuti per avere un caffè dopo 2 lamentele, parcheggio troppo stretto, vista fiume con le tende dei campeggiatori sul lato opposto.”

“2 miles from the Railway station, in the middle of some ponds, nice hotel but not adequate personnel (in mubers), location is poor, prices are high (Ascot week).”

“The room was not clean, the carpets were stained and dirty, the chair was dirty, the shower was dirty. They changed the room which was better, however I was too tall to have a shower as the ceiling was so low so I had to bath. Good breakfast ”

“Staff were lovely. Room very dated, mattress so old it's like sleeping straight on the bed base, had to sleep on half the duvet just for a bit of softness. Window didn't close properly. Loose wires coming out of the wall. ”

“I am a repeat customer at The Mitre. The hotel has a wonderful "old-world" charm to it, but they’ve balanced it perfectly with the modern amenities you actually need. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. I managed to leave an item in my room after checking out and Sandra was an absolute lifesaver. Even though the hotel was buzzing with the Friday morning guests, she took the time to coordinate getting the item across the city to one of my colleagues, in rush hour during a tube...
